That is the one thing I remember the most about Albuquerque during Christmas time - is how absolutely beautiful Old Town was decorated! I especially love the luminaries/Farolitos!

It is really pretty, isn't it? I love Old Town; we don't get down there enough... now I am thinking we should stroll around and maybe have dinner there before the River of Lights... great reminder, thank you!

I love luminaries...or any soft white lights! We were at a local Christmas parade today. We may have been biased but we thought our daughter's marching band was the best. Smile The band is in another parade downtown next week. We took a little drive around our neighborhood this evening to see what lights others had on their homes. We have a botanical garden that has a GLOW as well. There is a music concert at school the week after next. I'm sure we'll explore some other festivities in our new area...just need to start exploring a bit.

Tips on making crackers...is the hat inside yours? Do you include anything else?
